1st country to reach the South Pole of the moon
Congratulations to our scientists Salutations to our engineers
Today is a great day for every Indian to feel proud. Our scientists and engineers have done the marvel to take India on the top of the world.
Chandrayan-3 landed on the moon and India has become the first country to reach the south polar region of the moon.
India has become the fourth country to successfully land on the Moon as the Chandrayaan-3’s lander module with the Rover in its belly successfully made a soft landing on the lunar surface this evening. Thus, India joined countries like the USA, Russia and China to achieve this feat.
Precisely at 6.03 p.m. the lander touched the lunar surface. When Chandrayan-3 landed on the moon, India climbed to the peak of the world for this great scientific achievement.
We greet, congratulate and salute our scientists and engineers who worked hard with extra-ordinary precision to make this possible. We join every Indian to rejoice and celebrate this remarkable scientific advancement.
With greetings
Yours Comradely,
C.H. VENKATACHALAM
GENERAL SECRETARY
