The need for revision has become necessary in view of escalation in the cost of properties and building materials. Similarly, the prices of vehicles have also escalated. You are aware that the last revision in Housing Loan and Overdraft Facility Scheme was made in 2022 and Vehicle Loan was revised in 2020(HO circulars enclosed for your ready reference).

Bank’s Advertisement on Engagement of Apprentices aimed at to contractualise the perennial and permanent jobs.
At the outset we firmly lodge our protest and opposition on the contemplated scheme of engaging apprentices. We also convey our displeasure & disapproval over the attitude of the management for ignoring the reality, staff shortage and need for regular recruitment at all level. In our view such a step of engaging apprentices for a limited period in an institution like ours will prove to be detrimental to the interest of the Bank in the long run.

As already informed to our unions, the 12th Bipartite Settlement has been signed today. We congratulate and salute all our units and members on the happy occasion of this significant achievement.
The journey of AIBEA in uplifting the economic well-being of bank employees started in 1946 when AIBEA was born. After 2 decades of struggles, AIBEA could overcome the travails of Tribunals and achieve bilateralism and bipartite settlement in 1966 when it secured the 1st BPS. Since then, with unswerving conviction and unwavering steadfastness, AIBEA has been committed to maintain the system of bipartism.
