6th Death Anniversary of Com. Krishan Lal was held on 02 Aug 2014. Near about 100 Comrades have attended the function and paid the homage to Com. Krishan Lal. Office Bearers and Central Committee Members from Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh have also attended the function. At that occasion Com. Krishan Lal Memorial Scholarships have also been distributed.

 On 19th July 2014, A massive show demonstrated by PBEF in Jalandhar. It is a matter of Pride that in this function near about 75 Members of UCBEU have been participated.

All newly appointed clerks have joined UCBEU. UCBEU appreciate the efforts of all Senior comrades, Office Bearers and CC Members who have guided them that only and only AIBEA is a right path.

We congratulates our 35 sub staff members who have been promoted as clerks.

IN TODAY MEETING IBA IMPROVED THEIR INITIAL OFFER FROM 5% TO 9.5% ON PAY SLIP COST AND TO HOLD NEXT ROUND OF TALK ON 27TH JANUARY,2014 .IN VIEW OF THIS UFBU A DECIDES TO DEFER THE STRIKE ON 20 & 21TH JANUARY,2014

After our successful strike on 18th December, UFBU held its meeting at Hyderabad on 23rd December to review the developments and take further course of action. We reproduce herein the text of UFBU’s Circular in this regard. It will be noted that UFBU has decided to intensify our agitation with more action. Hence all our units should take all necessary steps to mobilise our members in full to implement these programmes effectively.

 

“Units are aware that UFBU has given its call for All India Bank Strike on our demands for immediate wage revision and to stop the banking sector reforms.  Since 19th December happens to be a holiday in a few places, it has been decided that the Strike will be observed on 18th December, 2013.

Please ensure that Badges are supplied to all branch units and members in time.  Please also ensure that Posters are displayed before all branches and offices.  Our leaflets are also to be widely distributed to create more awareness about the issue.  We will be sending Press Release (draft ) in advance.  The Press Statement should be released to the press on 5th December.  In centres where our State Federations can hold press meet/conference, the same should be arranged.  

ALL INDIA STRIKE – 19TH DEC. 2013:   Alongside our preparation for the Morchas, we should also keep our membership prepared for the ensuing strike by UFBU on 19th December, 2013.  The details of the preparatory programme will be informed to units in due course.
 

All the comrades are requested to participate in the historic march to the parliament at New Delhi on 11th Dec. 2013 by AIBEA against the anti people and anti labour policies of the Govt.

In the discussions held between Management and All India Uco Bank Officers'  Federation on 19th and 20th November and All India Uco Bank Employees' Federation on 21st and 22nd November, satisfactory conclusions could be arrived at on several issues focussed in the Struggle. Decision is awaited in respect of few issues, the details of which are communicated to the units by respective Federations.

Units and members have been informed about the developments from time to time on the impact that we could create on the management due to our agitational programs. In continuation of Discussions our Federation had with Management on 31st October, meeting was held with management on 21st and 22nd. Members may recall that our struggle itself was compelled by provocation of certain unilateral decisions of the management
