UFBU CIRCULAR :   Another round of negotiations was held today between IBA and UFBU in the IBA office in Mumbai.  IBA team was led by Shri. Rajkiran Rai. G (MD-CEO, Union Bank of India), Chairman of the Negotiating Committee and from UFBU, representatives of all the nine constituent unions were present.

After a gap of two months, one more round of discussion took place between IBA and UFBU at Mumbai on 29-8-2019.  IBA team was led by Shri Rajkiran Rai G, Chairman of the Negotiating Committee. UFBU was represented by all our 9 constituent unions. 

 

 It is surprising that when our country’s economy is already facing turbulence and serious slowdown, instead of taking measures that will boost the economy, efforts are being taken which will further precipitate the economic instability. 
RBI was specifically created as an independent institution mandated with the responsibility of ensuing the stability in the economy besides monitoring external stability, monetary stability and money supply.  RBI is a totally autonomous body and is not expected to be an extension counter of the Finance Ministry or the Government.  It has very specific tasks to perform which should not be interfered with.  But what is happening now is a matter of serious concern where the RBI is apparently forced to bow down to the wishes of the Government to release their funds to bridge the fiscal deficit of the Government.

Attention Is Invited to Head Office Circular No. CHO/PAS/05/201 1-2012 dated 21/01/2012 in respect of revision in the cost of uniform and cost of shoes for the members of subordinate staff was last circulated. In the meantime, there has been change in cost of inputs. Hence, keeping in view the rise in price of cloth and stitching charges, the Competent Authority has approved revision in the cost of uniform and liveries for subordinate staff as under:

2nd August 2019   -  11th Death Anniversary of COM KRISHAN LAL, 
OUR MENTOR, OUR GUIDE ‘OUR LEADER   -
LEST WE FORGET THE IDEOLOGY/LEGACY LEFT BY HIM.

2ND Day of August. Each year steers our memories to 2nd August 2008,  when Com. Krishan Lal breathed his last after a prolonged illness.   Com Krishan Lal,  our mentor, guide, a personality that was an inspirer for every comrade till his last breath,  cared for the bank employees in general and UCO Bank Comrades in particular.  His joys and sorrows  moved with the joys and sorrows of his fellow comrades.  

Government of India, through the Department of Personnel & Training, periodically reviews the prevailing state of law and order and security scenario in the valley through the Home Secretary of J & K State, and issues necessary guidelines from time to time for extension and/or enhancement of the special concession/ facilities. 

 “ Bipartite Talks with IBA on our charter of demands for revision of wages and service conditions which were not being held on account of general elections, were resumed after 4 months (last round of discussions took place on 21.2.2019) when a round of discussions was held today in IBA office. 

 The Government will be presenting the Budget-2019-20 in the Parliament on 5th July, 2019.  From AIBEA, we have addressed a letter to the Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman giving our views and suggestions.   We have already sent the copy of this letter to all our units. 

Consequent to the merger of Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank with Bank of Baroda from today, it has become necessary to amalgamate our Unions under AIBEA in these three Banks.  

Accordingly, a joint meeting of All India Bank of Baroda Employees Co-ord. Committee, All India Dena Bank Employees Co-ord. Committee and Vijaya Bank Workers Organisation was held at Hyderabad on 29^th March, 2019 along with the Central Committee of AIBEA.

With this merger of the Bank and affiliation of all our unions in Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank with our union in BOB, AIBEA’s membership in BOB has gone upto 22,050 thus AIBEA union (AIBOBECC) has emerged as the overwhelming majority union in Bank of Baroda. 

 

It is a very happy moment for all of us in AIBEA and we convey our greetings to all our units and members, particularly in BOB on this happy occasion.  We are sure that our union will grow further in the days to come.

Central Committee meeting of AIBEA was held in Hyderabad from 27^th to 29^th March, 2019. The meeting was presided over by Com Rajen Nagar, President along with our Vice Presidents Com J P Sharma, Com M M Rai and Com. Nandakumar Chavan.
