We trust our Circular dt 22/08/2018 on the deliberations of the Working committee held at Ahmedabad on 19 th and 20 th August is received by all our units and circulated among all our Members. As advised through the circular we are now giving under the  decisions taken in the working committee for the compliance of  all our units.

On the Health of our  Bank :

Pending  implementation of  Decisions taken in the  Meeting of  State level Convenors of  UFUBU, units have been called upon to chalk out their own programme to involve all our members for giving better account of branches in the areas of CUSTOMER SERVICE, CASA MOBILIZATION,RECOVERY OF  IMPAIRED SMALL LOANS AND  MARKETING OF  RETAIL PRODUCTS. As  we are aware and conscious  that  unless each and every branch play it's role and contribute towards improving it's performance Bank's overall health cannot be improved  in reality. In the long term interest of the Bank's health  it is the need of the hour. Hence let the efforts be continued irrespective of the outcome or results.

On the  Deteriorating Situation in the  INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS FRONT :

Keeping in view the nonchalant attitude and approach of the Management at the Apex level as well as in some Zones towards the Unions and matters concerning  the  employees the committee came to the inevitable conclusion that  being passive to such a situation would further embolden the Management to pursue it's Unilateral and High handed approach. Thus the respect and recognition given by the Management for decades to the sanctity of Bilateralism is under grave threat. Accordingly  it has been decided to gear up our ranks to befittingly take on the situation by observing the under mentioned programmes.

1.    PROTEST AND DEMANDS DAY TO BE OBSERVED DURING FIRST HALF OF SEPTEMBER WITH BADGE WEARING ON A UNIFORM  DATE ALL OVER INDIA. DATE AND SPECIMEN OF THE BADGE WILL BE SENT SOON.

2.    THE ABOVE PROGRAMME WILL BE FOLLOWED BY A HUMAN CHAIN PROGRAMME HOLDING PLACARDS ON OUR DEMANDS BEFORE SELECT ZONAL OFFICES AND HEAD OFFICE - DATE AND SPECIMEN OF PLACARDS WILL BE SENT SOON. HUMAN CHAIN WILL BE HELD BETWEEN 9.15 AM AND 9.55 AM. (BY THIRD WEEK OF SEPTEMBER)

3.    FURTHER THERE WILL BE DEMONSTRATIONS BEFORE ALL ZONAL OFFICES ON THE SAME DAY OF HUMAN CHAIN PROGRAMME. DEMONSTRATION WILL BE HELD BETWEEN 5.45 PM AND 6.30 PM.

4.    THERE WILL BE DHARNA BEFORE ALL NODAL ZONAL OFFICES BY THE END OF SEPTEMBER - DATE AND OTHER DETAILS WILL BE CIRCULATED SOON.

IN between, few more programmes like memorandum to Zonal Heads and ED/MD etc may also be decided.

Our Bihar unit has given a call for DHARNA before Patna Zonal Office on 29 th against anti-employee postures of the local management. The other union UCBEA (BEFI) too is joining the Dharna. In the event of the Management's failure to mend their ways Federation may call upon the All India units to plunge into solidarity action.

The committee also felt that Federation will go ahead with the above programmes independently and in the event of other unions coming forward to join our struggle, the same may be welcome if it would not dilute our basic approach and broad principles. Similarly committee also clarified that unit level joint action,  if any forthcoming  against undesirable attitude of local management,  may be considered where ever necessary.

Units are to take note of the above and gear up our rank and file so as to ensure that every programme is massively successful and secure desired  response from the management. Go ahead. Demonstrate your capabilities once again. Victory shall be ours.
