Government of India, through the Department of Personnel & Training, periodically reviews the prevailing state of law and order and security scenario in the valley through the Home Secretary of J & K State, and issues necessary guidelines from time to time for extension and/or enhancement of the special concession/ facilities. 

 Based on the same, DPS, MOP advises the Public Sector Banks to be guided accordingly for its implementation. Upon receipt of requests from various sections for payment of allowances to the employees of Kashmir valley at the rates as directed by Government of India, a note was placed before the Board of Directors for consideration. The Board of Directors in its meeting held on 13.06.2019 has approved the proposal for extending following special concession/facilities with revised rates w.e.f 01.01.2015.
