In continuation with circular number 05/2023 dated 2nd February 2023, 07/2023 dated 16th February 2023 and 09/23 dated 4th March 2023 It is very much in your notice that we are holding our 12th conference on 12th March 2023 at Desh Bhagat Yadgar HALL Jalandhar.

Comrades 12th Conference is being held at a crucial juncture when bank employees are awaiting the Commencement of talks on new bipartite with IBA . Besides the threat of further consolidation and merger of banks and privatization of public sector banks at the behest of corporate and anti bank employees forces is a matter of concern. There is also an acute shortage of staff in the branches. These all challenges can only be taken with unity and strength. It is really a mockery that the Govt. in the name of increasing the size of Banks, is talking of merger and consolidation of Public Sector Banks, so as to enable them to compete with the international banks, which have larger bases. At the same time, it is mooting the idea of introducing small Deposit and Payment Banks even all private investment companies are working as Banks. Our Union UCO bank employees Union affiliated to All India UCO bank Employees Federation under the banner of AIBEA is enjoying a thumping majority in North Zone (Chandigarh Jalandhar and Karnal Zones) .It is because, you have a full faith in your organization. Comrades , Conference is the only occasion where we can exhibit our strength. Now it is the time to get together and show your strength with unity .On 12th March all the comrades will decide the future course of their organization and will complete the following agenda in conference :  To approve the General Secretary's report and Audited accounts of the union.  To consider the resolutions.  To consider the amendments if there is any’  To elect Hony. members ,office bearers and Central committee members of the body  To appoint auditors.  Any other issue with permission of the chair. In this connection it also has been decided that the meeting of the Top office bearers i.e. from President to Asst general secretaries of the UCO Bank employees Union will be held at 8:30 a.m. on 12th March 2003 at union office i.e.442 Master Tara Singh Nagar before the starting of the conference for the important discussions and for final touch to the preparation of the conference. All the comrades in the branches are requested to reach the venue in time. Programme already in your notice and the success of the conference in your hands .Credit goes to UCO Bank Comrades for holding conferences with unique success in the past . With the holding of every conference, our union emerges with renewed strength and vigor. I hope that the success of this conference will pave the way for the implementation of programs and decisions of our Apex body AIBEA with full zeal and enthusiasm
