Congratulations and red salute to all of you dear comrades.  The All India Strike by 10 lacs bank employees and officers all over the country yesterday, 26^th December, 2018 has been a total success.   The strike was called by United Forum of Bank Unions to protest against the Government’s recent decision to merge Bank of Baroda, Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank into one single Bank thus, in effect, closing down two public sector Banks.

We greet all our units and members for making the 2 Days / 48 Hours Continuous All India Strike a stupendous strike in all the Banks in all the States. As per reports reaching us from the various States and centres, the participation of our members in the strike action was wholesome and enthusiastic. Their turn-out in the demonstrations and rallies was large and impressive. We salute all our members for this wonderful unity and adorable militancy.

All our units and members will be aware that 20th April, 2018 marks the completion of 72 years of glorious existence of AIBEA and will be the 73rd Founding Day of our beloved organisation. As in every year, this year also we need to celebrate and observe the Founding Day befittingly.
