Nirmal Singh Dhaliwal, General Secretary, AITUC (PB) will be our Eminent Guests including other prominent leaders of PBEF and HBEF. 12th Conference is taking place when our movement is facing multi dimension attacks due to Govt. policies in the name of banking reforms. Disinvestment, privatization, mergers are only the remedial measures on the agenda of the Government. 11th Bipartite Negotiations are entering in to crucial stage. In the 50th Year of Bank Nationalization, bulging bad loans have become a serious threat for the banking industry. Our priority task is to achieve satisfactory 11th Bipartite Settlement as well as to save Public Sector Banks from Corporate loot. In such circumstances our unity and struggle is only the weapon in our hand through which we can achieve our goal. Hence Punjab Bank Employees’ Federation under the banner of AIBEA has a great role to play in coming days. Punjab Bank Employees’ Federation is having its own glorious traditions in the past.
