Dear Comrades,

Programmes galore – struggles ahead – let us move

    5th Dec.        –  All India Demands Day
    11th Dec.     –  Parliament Morcha by thousands of soldiers of AIBEA
    12th Dec.     –  Parliament Morcha by lacs and lacs of workers
    19th Dec.     –  All India Bank Strike

Because of the increasing attacks and challenges, we have to undertake programme after programme.  Hence all our unions have to gear up their machinery for the same.

ALL INDIA DEMANDS DAY – 5TH DECEMBER  :  Please ensure that Badges are supplied to all branch units and members in time.  Please also ensure that Posters are displayed before all branches and offices.  Our leaflets are also to be widely distributed to create more awareness about the issue.  We will be sending Press Release (draft ) in advance.  The Press Statement should be released to the press on 5th December.  In centres where our State Federations can hold press meet/conference, the same should be arranged.

PARLIAMENT MORCAH ON 11TH DECEMBER :  The starting point of the Morcha will be informed to units shortly (after getting police permission).  All our unions should ensure that all the participants reach the venue in time.  All State Federations should have their banners and the States would participate in the procession on alphabetical order.  All Office Bearers of AIBEA would participate in the Rally in the front to lead the Rally.   Each State should designate two or three senior office bearers to lead their respective contingent and to ensure that the participants take part in the procession in an orderly way.  Placards and flags are being prepared by Delhi Federation for the use in the procession.

Slogans in English, Hindi or local language should be prepared covering our 30 point demands.  Participants from Delhi Federation would be at the rear end of the procession. The Morcha will end in a Mass Public Rally in Parliament Street where prominent leaders will greet the participants.  Details about the number of participants, arrival details, etc. should be informed to us and our Delhi Federation in advance.

PARLIAMENT MORCHA ON 12TH DECEMBER :    This Morcha will commence from Ram Lila Grounds at 11-00 AM and end in Parliament Street.  All our participants should reach the venue before time and assemble behind our banner.  We will participate in the rally under the banner of UFBU.    Besides AIBEA banner, all our State Federations should also have their banners for this Rally also.  Slogans should be raised against the anti-people, anti-labour policies of the Government covering the 10 points charter of demands of the National Trade Union Convention.

ARRANGEMENTS:  Stay arrangements for the participants are being made and our State Federations should inform our Delhi Federation about their actual requirements to avoid last minutes confusions and difficulties.  State Federations should suitably caution the participants to be careful about their personal belongings during their travel, stay and participation in the programme.  Special care should be taken to ensure safety and security for our women participants.  Wherever possible, our State Federations can arrange for caps, hats, T shirts, etc. or  advise participants on some uniform colour of dress, etc. to add colour and grandeur to the procession.

Weather in Delhi:  In Delhi and northern India, winter has set in and hence participants should bear this mind during their train travel and stay in Delhi.

ALL INDIA STRIKE – 19TH DEC. 2013:   Alongside our preparation for the Morchas, we should also keep our membership prepared for the ensuing strike by UFBU on 19th December, 2013.  The details of the preparatory programme will be informed to units in due course.
