Central Committee Meeting of Punjab Bank Employees’ Federation was held on Sunday, 8th January 2023 at Ludhiana. The meeting was presided over by Com P.R Mehta, President, PBEF. Prior to the discussions on regular Agenda PBEF office bearers elected in their recently concluded Conferences of PNBSU, CBIEU and BOIEU were felicitated with garlands. Com S.K Gautam, General Secretary, explained the agenda of the meeting in detail and reported the latest developments in the banking industry which were further elaborated by Com P.R Mehta, President. Thereafter discussions were initiated and after threadbare deliberations decisions were taken as per detail as under;

 1. In view of the media reports and ensuing budget session of the Parliament it was decided to remain vigilant for any type eventuality or call for agitation by AIBEA/UFBU.
2. In view of the AIBEA Conference being held from 13th to 15th May 2023 at Mumbai it has been decided to hold 13th Conference of Punjab Bank Employees’ Federation on Sunday, 16th April 2023 at Shri Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan Ludhiana. 3. It has been decided that the base Unions of the Federation having their conference is overdue, will complete the same before PBEF Conference.
4. 11th Bipartite Settlement Levy and Annual Subscription up to 31st December 2022 should be cleared at the earliest but not later than 31st January 2023.

Issues pertaining to Organization were also discussed in detail and it was decided to implement the same in due course. The Meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair.
