Meeting of the Joint Action Committee was held at Kolkata on 30th October, 2013.At the outset, the meeting placed on record its deep sense of satisfaction over the over whelming response to the call of the JAC and making the Strikes in Chennai Circle on 8th ,  and in Mumbai Circle on 24th and file in these circles for manifesting sense of oneness and limitless enthusiasm in all the programmes during this period.

JAC appreciated the enthusiastic preparations by the leadership and rank and file in Chandigarh Circle for making the ensuing Strike on 6th November another victorious one.
JAC considered the report on INFORMAL DISCUSSIONS that were held between the Management and Leaders of both the Federations on 23rd Formal Discussions on 30th the Management so as to give fair trial to the discussions.

4. ADEQUATE MANPOWER SUPPLY TO THE BRANCHES.
5. EXPLOITATION OF WORKFORCE
5. IMPLEMENTATION OF UNDERSTANDINGS REACHED WITH THE RESPECTIVE FEDERATIONS.
On the next day, 31st October, Meetings were held with AIUCBOF in the morning and with AIUCBEF in the afternoon to discuss issues that are awaiting implementation. In both the meetings in the absence of decisive approach finality could not be reached. Management proposed another round of discussions with both Federations in the third week of November 2013. Management reiterated their appeal to reconsider our decision in pursuing the ensuing Strikes and agitational programmes.
October a resounding Success. JAC congratulated the entire rank  October and the invitation of the Management to JAC for  and 31st. JAC decided to accept the invitation and resume discussions with Joint Action Committee met again in the night of 31st October 2013. JAC while expressing satisfaction over the conclusions arrived at on the Common issues, was apprehensive of approach of the Management on other issues which are awaiting implementation for unduly long time. JAC was of the view that there is no merit in considering the appeal of the management in withdrawing the call of agitation. However keeping in view the continuation of discussions, Strike calls scheduled on
November in Chandigarh Circle, 13th may be RESCHEDULED and clubbed with the STRIKE ON 27th programmes have been kept in abeyance. Thus JAC after consulting the respective State units has decided to observe the Strike on 27th emerge out of the discussions proposed to be held between 19th and the Management.
Comrades, struggle is far from over. We have reached a crucial stage. We shall spare no stone unturned in bringing out satisfactory conclusions on the issues concerning our ranks through discussions. But if the Management chooses to fail in HONOURING their commitment we shall be left with no option except to carry forward the movement. Hence, we call upon our ranks to continue to remain in the battle field with the same spirit, zeal, enthusiasm and determination. March ahead, keep up the fighting spirit, victory shall be ours.
