Consequent to the merger of Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank with Bank of Baroda from today, it has become necessary to amalgamate our Unions under AIBEA in these three Banks.

Accordingly, a joint meeting of All India Bank of Baroda Employees Co-ord. Committee, All India Dena Bank Employees Co-ord. Committee and Vijaya Bank Workers Organisation was held at Hyderabad on 29th March, 2019 along with the Central Committee of AIBEA.

Pending legal amalgamation of our unions at All India level and State level, to enable all the units and  members of AIBEA in Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank to come under the banner of AIBOBECC, it was decided by the CC and accordingly all the unions and members of AIBEA in Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank have been affiliated to AIBOBECC.

Thus, with this affiliation, the entire membership of AIBEA in the three Banks (BOB, Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank) have now under the single banner of AIBOBECC.

In view of this affiliation and organisational development, the membership of All India Bank of Baroda Employees Co-ord. Committee now stands at 22,000 + (10500 + 6500 + 5000) and hence AIBOBECC (AIBEA) becomes the overwhelming majority in BOB.

AIBEA achieving and attaining majority status in Bank of Baroda is a happy development for all of us.  We recall the great efforts of Com Prabhat Kar, Com R D Trivedi, Com P R Thorat and other leaders of yesteryears who toiled for this objective.

Joint Co-ordination Committee (JCC) consisting of the three unions viz. AIBOBECC, AIDBECC and VBWO has been formed to take up the issues with the management as well as to co-ordinate the activities of the units in various States.

State-level Committees will also be formed as per guidelines of AIBEA.  Similarly, to deal with the local RO/ZO managements, Joint Committees will be formed for each Region and Zone.
