13th Conference of Punjab Bank Employees’ Federation On 16th April 2023 at Shree Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan, Ludhiana

 Central Committee Meeting of Punjab Bank Employees’ Federation was held on 29th March 2023 at Ludhiana. The meeting was presided by Com P.R Mehta, President. Com S.K Gautam, General Secretary explained the agenda of the meeting and reported the details of preparations already made for the 13th Conference. 

 Thereafter discussions were initiated. Com Ravi Razdan, Com Rajesh Verma, Com Harvinder Singh, Com Yuv Raj Muria, Com R.K Jolly, Com Naresh Gaur, Com Yadvinder Gupta, Com R.K Bhagat, Com Jagpreet Singh, Com Sanjiv Prashar, and Com Ankur Dhadwal took part in the discussions and after threadbare discussions the following decisions were taken as per detail as under;
1. General Secretary’s Report was adopted unanimously.
2. Accounts for the year 2021 and 2022 were adopted unanimously.
3. Resolutions including constitutional amendments were adopted unanimously.
4. Delegation allotted to the Base Unions along with 50% observers in addition to delegates will be allowed subject to clearance of dues including subscription and levy. Delegate fee for the Conference @ Rs 250/- per delegate & observer as already informed vide Circular No. 20/2023 dated16/03/2023 will also be payable.
5. It was decided to constitute reception committee comprising of local Office Bearers/members at Ludhiana to make necessary arrangements and to hold its meeting on 5 th April 2023 at 4.00 PM.

Delegation for AIBEA Conference

1. As already informed vide Circular No.21/2023 dated 16/03/2023 list of delegates and observers already allotted as per AIBEA Circular Letter No 28/266/2023/12. is still awaited from some of our base Unions. 52 delegates, 26 observers, 13 Young and 13 Women observers are already allotted to base Unions. It was decided that lists of delegates and observers will be submitted immediately to the Central Office. In case any Union will not take delegate/observer as per allocation the same will be allotted to other Unions.

2. It was decided to maintain dress code in Inaugural Session and T-Shirts of Yellow Color will be provided by the Federation. Hence General Secretaries are requested to inform tentative size of their delegates/observers. In concluding remarks Com P.R Mehta, President called upon all the members to make all out preparations and make the Conference a grand success as per past traditions of the Federation. The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair. Comrades, we request you to implement the decisions and make all out efforts to make PBEF & AIBEA Conferences a grand success.
