As advised earlier, HO has released the circular listing out the new Staff Welfare Measures as decided in the Staff Welfare Committee.



 STAFF WELFARE MEASURES:

As advised earlier, HO has released the circular listing out the new Staff Welfare Measures as decided in the Staff Welfare Committee.

For Serving Employees: HO CIRCULAR CHO PMG/29/2012-2013

Improvements:

1. Health Checkup Scheme:

    Rs.2500 for self and Rs.1500 for Spouse.

    Age above 40 Years.

    Once a year.

2.  Cost of Spectacles:

    Cost reimbursement up to Rs. 1000

 

Those above the age of 30 and have completed 5 years of Service.

 

3. Financial assistance to physically challenged wards of the Employees age restriction extended from  21 to 25 years.

 

4. Holiday Homes. New at either Darjeeling or Mussouri & One at Tirupathi.

 

For Retirees: HO CIRCULAR  CHO/PMG/28/2012-2013

 

1.Financial Assistance over and above Reimbursement from Medi claim Insurance to the extent of Rs 25,000 for self and Rs 10,000 for Spouse for Special Hospitalisation for Heart, Kidney, Cancer ,Brain Tumor and Major Injury in Accident ,

2. Rs 5000 per month to all the Pre-1986 Retirees/Spouse over and above Ex-Gratia payment.

 

CANTEEN SUBSIDY: Modalities are yet to be approved. Expected to be implemented in January after formal approval from Board with effect from November, 2012 as decided in the meeting.

 

CAR LOAN: A unique achievement, Scheme on par with Officers .HO CIRCULAR CHO/PAS/6/2012-13 dt 1/12/2012.

 

ELIGIBILITY: Three completed years of service.

QUANTUM: 3,50,000.or 80% of the Cost which ever is lower.

INTEREST:  SIMPLE RATE @ 8.5% pa upto Rs 80,000 and 12.5% Above Rs 80,000.

REPAYMENT : 200 monthly installments. 120 months Principal and 80 Months for interest.

Second hand vehicle purchase allowed.

 

 

 

THOSE WHO HAVE AVAILED CAR LOAN UNDER OLD SCHEME ON OR AFTER 25-9-2012 are eligible to convert under new scheme.

 

Our pending Demand for Petrol Reimbursement: The scheme is prepared and is waiting for approval from CMD AND THE BOARD.

 

DISPUTED CASES OF CASUAL SWEEPERS: We are assured that the issue will be dealt in the next meeting by month end.

 

IR MEETING| Bank has invited our Federation for IR meeting on 13th. Due to some organizational pre-occupation we have advised them to reschedule the meeting by January second week.

 

SPECIAL ASSISTANTS:  HO has advised all the Zones to fill up the vacant posts caused by promotions to JM Scale -1 thereby giving an impression that other vacant posts arising out of Retirements and other Natural wattages need not be filled. Upon taking up with HO, it has been agreed to clarify the Zones appropriately. Units are to ensure that all vacant posts are filled without allowing ZOs to misinterpreting the Policy or HO circular.

 

CLERICAL RECRUITMENT: Due to some legality, HO desires to exhaust the present panel and then go for fresh recruitment which has been assured to be completed by February.

 

GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS OF AIUCBEF:

 

Celebrations at Jodhpur and Jaipur (Rajsathan unit)  are slated to be held on 12 th and 13 th December.

 

Our Himachal Pradesh Unit has scheduled the celebrations on 18th and 20 th at Dharamsala and SHIMLA respectively.

 

Units to note: 

 

Our Kolkatta comrades are gearing up the unit for the GRAND FINALE of GOLDEN JUBILEE CELBRATIONS scheduled on 16th March, 2013. Units are once again requested to inform them about the number of comrades attending the event so as to enable them to make necessary accommodation for the comfortable stay of the participants. Formal notice for working committee, scheduled to meet at Kolkatta on 15 th March will be issued in due course.”
