Respected Sir,

For a decade (ie.2004-2014) more than 12,000 families were waiting and were in a hope that even they will get the happy news (Compassionate Appointment) would be provided to any one of the Deceased Employee family members.

On August 5 2014, a circular was released from the Ministry of finance stating that the ban on Compassionate Appointment in the Banking Sector has been removed (the scheme Ex-gratia in lieu Compassionate Appointment has been removed) and even we were in a hope that the same will be applicable to all the employees whether it is Deceased Employee of past cases or present.

But it is very unfortunate to know that the scheme is applicable only from 05.08.2014 and the old cases will not be dealt with the new scheme, here we would like to mention few points.

1. Why the (Big unions) were not able convince the government that even new scheme (Compassionate Appointment) re-introduced should be applicable to all the deceased employee members in the past cases.

2. If the Government was not ready to agree (that the new scheme is applicable for the Old cases) then why the (Big unions) acted so hastily by agreeing the proposal, here the unions should have raised their voice very strongly.

3. How come the (Big unions) forget the contribution and sacrifices of the Deceased Employees, is this value which they gave for their comrades or their colleagues.

4. Even today there are more than 12,000 families waiting for this and also we would like to mention here that in many cases they have not claimed Ex-gratia and even in many cases the Ex-gratia has been denied.

5. As the unions are the bridge between the employee and employer, here the unions forgot the welfare of those family members who had great trust in the Unions hoping that one day they will get fair justice.

6. Still there are many genuine cases and there is need for compassionate appointment in past cases, there are many cases where mother is suffering from cancer, even there are families with widow and very small children and like this there are many stories which go on.

Sir it is not about the particular union or a matter of particular bank employee family, it is about the Bank employee families of all over India irrespective of Banks and unions.

Here the scheme should be the same for all whether it is deceased employee of past cases or present, when the new scheme was introduced in 2003 i.e., Ex-gratia in lieu of Compassionate Appointment it was instructed that all the pending cases will be dealt with new scheme, but after a decade when compassionate appointment is re-introduced in 2014 it is being instructed that all the old pending cases should be dealt with Old scheme (Ex-gratia in lieu of Compassionate Appointment) but not with the New scheme, this is a kind injustice for more than 12,000 families which has happened.

Now, we need the justice and it should be made clear that scheme will be same for one and all.

Even we are ready to join in this with you, but we need justice for more than 12,000 families.

My father SBI EMPLOYEE, BUT DIED ON 2014..ANY KIND OF JOB NOT GIVEN TO MY FAMILY..WE HAVE ONLY 4 PEOPLE'S ..IM KIRAN,2 SISTERS & GRAND MOTHER...BUT INDIA CENTRAL GOVERN MENT ALSO..NO TAKE ANY ACTION ON THIS BUT WE 3 PEOPLE ALSO...EDUCATED..BUT ANY JOB NT GIVEN..MY BURDENS IS SO MANY PROBLEM.....PLEASE CONVEY MY REQUEST...THANK YOU..TO ALL OFFICERS.

my father expired on 02-02-2002,who was working in Bangalore city branch, then my interview was over in 08/04/2006, just posting was required to me, after that noting was happens till 2008, then one day, one letter came to me stating that The central govt said that compassionate appointment cant give IN Banking sector,
i dont know y govt as decided like that
the new circular as of 31/07/2004 sates that "Revised scheme for payment of ex-gratia amount in lieu of appointment on compassionate grounds and Appointment of dependants of deceased employees on compassionate grounds.
bank offered us Rs 7,00,000/- as per circular,
unfortunately we revised that Rs.7,00,000/- because in same circular the bank as mentioned that if Compassionate Appointment scheme revised in future , payback 7,00,000 with interest, bank can appoint you for a job
mean while i joined daily wager worker in same Kengeri branch uco bank from 20004, then also i waited for 12 years for my job,
one fine day New govt revised the Compassionate Appointment Scheme, but same time disappointed that cut - off date is mentioned i.e. 15/08/2014, i not understand why cut-off date as mentioned .
sawing all these circumstance i put WRIT PETITION in front of Honorable High Court Karnataka on 2015.
now my case in under process.

MY QUESTION TO BANK AND GOVT IS
1) AS PER COMPASSIONATE APPOINTMENT SCHEME 1999 WHY BANK DELAYED TO MAKE INTERVIEW UPTO 08/04/2006.
2) AFTER 08/04/2006 WHY BANK NOT GIVEN POSTING IMMEDIATELY.
3) 2007 NEW CIRCULAR CAME FROM GOVT,OK BUT WHY 1999 TO 2006 DECEASED FAMILY ALREADY INTERVIEW OVER CANDIDATES NOT GIVEN JOB , WHAT THE TRUTH............
4) WHEN EMPLOYEE DISEASED SUDDENLY WHAT EXITING SCHEME THAT SHOULD BE APPLY YES OR NO
